Integrations: overview

See how supported providers connect to OpenbirdAI, which services each connection exposes, and why availability varies between accounts.

· OpenbirdAI documentation

Integrations connect external accounts to your workspace. Each one is a separate, revocable authorisation with its own provider, scopes and status. A connection grants access to the services inside it — nothing more, and nothing in any other connection.

Supported provider groups

OpenbirdAI groups integrations by the kind of work they unlock. The exact provider list is rendered from the live integration registry, so what you see in the product is what is currently available.

  • Google services — a single unified Google authorisation covering Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, YouTube, Analytics and Ads.
  • Social and messaging — WhatsApp Business, Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, TikTok Creator, Discord and Slack.
  • Advertising — Meta Ads alongside the Google Ads surface.
  • Development — GitHub, plus productivity tools such as Notion.
  • Commerce and finance — Shopify, Daraz, PayPal Business, QuickBooks Online, Sage Accounting, Zoho Books and Xero.
  • Media and data — Spotify and Binance for market data.
Provider coverage and per-service availability change. The integrations area in your account is the source of truth for what is enabled right now.

How a connection is modelled

  • One authorisation, many services — a unified connection such as Google exposes several services under one grant.
  • Workspace-scoped — a connection belongs to the workspace it was created in.
  • Revocable — disconnecting removes stored authorisation immediately.
  • Permission-scoped — only the scopes the provider granted are usable.

Before you connect

  1. Confirm which workspace should own the connection.
  2. Confirm you are allowed to authorise that account on behalf of the workspace.
  3. Read the provider permission screen and decline anything unnecessary.
  4. Connect the account that actually holds the data — not an equivalent personal account.

After connecting

Verify with a narrow question rather than a broad one, then confirm the services listed under the connection match what you expect. If a service is missing, the provider did not grant it or the account does not have it.

Common questions

Why can I see a provider in the docs but not in my account?

Availability depends on configuration and rollout for your account. The integrations area in the product reflects your actual availability.

Does one integration unlock the whole product?

No. A connection unlocks the services inside that provider, for questions that need them.
