What is OpenbirdAI?

OpenbirdAI is an AI workspace for questions, business guidance, connected tools and planning with OpenFeather. Check sources and review suggested actions.

· OpenbirdAI documentation

OpenbirdAI is a workspace for working with information from the tools you already use. You connect accounts such as Google, Meta, Shopify, GitHub or your accounting provider, then ask OpenFeather — the AI engine inside OpenbirdAI — a question in plain language. OpenFeather answers using only the context your workspace is authorised to access, shows the sources it used, and separates retrieved evidence from its own interpretation.

The three parts of the product

OpenbirdAI is built from three cooperating parts. Understanding which part does what makes the rest of the documentation easier to follow.

  • Your workspace holds the active business context: the connected accounts, saved memory, team members and history that OpenFeather is allowed to use.
  • Integrations connect external accounts. Each connection is a separate, revocable authorisation with its own scopes — connecting one service never grants access to another.
  • OpenFeather is the AI layer. It plans the request, decides which authorised sources to read, and produces an answer with citations.

Ask is the conversation surface where OpenFeather is used. Workspaces, Content Lab, Smart Calendar, Finance and team collaboration are the areas that surround it.

Connect, understand, act

Most work in OpenbirdAI follows the same loop, and most of the documentation is organised around it.

  1. Connect the account that holds the data you want to work with.
  2. Ask a specific question in OpenFeather Ask and read the answer together with its sources.
  3. Act on the finding in the relevant area — content, planning, finance or team context — after confirming the evidence is correct.
OpenFeather can prepare a suggested action, but an action is only completed when the product shows you an authorised confirmation. Never treat a suggestion as something that already happened.

A realistic first example

Connect an authorised Google account, then ask a question that only your data can answer, for example "Summarise what changed most in my Drive files this month". OpenFeather reads the Drive service inside that connection, returns a summary, and lists the documents it used. Private-data answers require the matching connection; general questions work without any connection at all.

From there you can continue the same conversation, ask for the underlying documents, or move into Content Lab to turn the verified findings into a draft.

What OpenbirdAI is not

  • It is not a source of truth. The connected platform remains authoritative; OpenbirdAI reads it.
  • It is not regulated advice. Generated financial, legal or medical interpretation is informational only.
  • It is not an unrestricted database view. Every request is filtered by your identity, workspace and permissions.

Where to go next

If you want results now, follow the quickstart. If you are setting up an existing workspace, read how to connect a platform first — most "no data" problems start there.
